John Maeda, Sugar Cubes (2003). "Created for my F00D exhibition. Ripped open a packet of sugar to scan all crystals inside the packet. Used these as 'pixels' to form a classical CG image of 2 shaded cubes. If you ever get a chance, be sure to look at sugar under a microscope. It's so much better than any modern sculpture you've recently seen."
