"Thursday" Written in Gold Calligraphy
All inks have their pros and cons. The pro of this sumi gold is that it's ✨GORGEOUS✨. It's got unmatched depth and an elegant shimmer. The con? Pass over it with an eraser, and it's going to smudge at least a little bit. That's why I never use it for calligraphy/art pieces that I've painstakingly drafted with pencil. Still: for casually writing out "Thursday" on a Thursday, it's a winner.

It's tough to tell if a paper is good for pointed pen calligraphy just by looking at it. You’ve got to test it! In this video, I’m trying out a cream-colored paper that I thought would work ... but the results were not-so-great. Moral of the story? Test, test, test before committing to a specific paper for your project! ✍️📜
