Marcel Breuer

(1902-1981) - Hungariaan architect and designer who made his mark on modernist furniture. After graduating from Bauhaus, he began working in Berlin before moving to US in 1937. It was his Wassily Chair, named after Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, that earned him recognition.
