Traditionally, Goslings Black Seal Rum is the base spirit in Goslings’ trademark Dark ‘n Stormy, which gets its name from the rum’s ominous, dark color. Charleston-based bartender James Bolt, from The Gin Joint, shows off the rum’s versatility in the Sail Away Seal, which is punched up with lime and warming ginger, balanced in a trio of cane sugar, citrus, and spice.
