Louison packs his suitcase and prepares to leave the Tour de France. He abandoned the race in the 11th stage. The organisers were more sympathetic to riders then. They allowed them to keep their numbers. Nowadays, as soon as there is an abandonment the number is immediately taken off the rider's jersey.
