‘Gone Clubbing’ was the result of relentless stubbornness. First made to be part of my White Lines documentary, this artwork was once white and had a couple of figures skiing on it before I painted it green to pursue a different idea. The idea was to make an artwork similar to ‘Avid Skier’ - my most viewed process video. But, in the wake of this collection, ‘Forbidden Grass,’ I wanted to put a twist on it.
