This antique roofing slate is painted for Easter with an old fashioned mason jar filled with Easter eggs, violets, and lily of the valley. All of my slates are painted in acrylics, protected with several coats of exterior sealer and tied with super strong synthetic leather. Most of my slates are reclaimed from roofs of barns, houses, and churches from New England and Upstate New York.
