Hand-painted on rustic cedar wood with acrylic paint and varnished with a top protective layer of polyurethane to last in the outdoor elements for years to come, greet all of your guests and trick-o-treaters with this fun sign every season! Choose your size, 4ft (48in.) or 5ft (60in.) and your stain. This rustic pumpkin Fall design is hand-painted over your choice of Expresso stain, blue or rustic cream stain. We welcome custom orders, and changes. Here is more about our beautiful signs and our process in the studio: We first start with a rustic cedar wood plank, size 4ft (or 5ft) x 6in. Then we carefully stain the wood with a rich Expresso Satin stain, and let the wood sit for a couple of days to cure. Depending on your color choice, your wood is then hand-distressed in your color choice. Your design is HAND-PAINTED, No stencils, stickers, spray paint or sponges used! Words are delicately measured with chalk, sketched then painted on to give the ultimate personal touch to your front door decor. Once the paint is fully dried, your sign is Hand-sanded, making sure each edge is carefully distressed as well as each letter and pumpkin to the perfect rustic representation. Once every thing has been inspected, The front of your welcome sign is then thoroughly cured with a polyurethane and wax base to protect it from the weather elements and waterproof the wood. Ensuring for years and years of many warm welcomes to your guests. We recommend covering the wood in plastic during the storage months to protect your sign from dust. Extreme heat or cold will not effect the design or protective and waterproof glaze. Please note~*These are real, authentic rough and country rustic cedar wood planks. Some small nicks, cracks and grooves may be a part of the natural appearance of this kind of wood under the stain, making it the perfect, rustic addition to your fall and Autumn decor. *A top protective layer of polyurethane is applied and this design is painted on weather-resistant, treated wood. However, we still recommend this sign be for use under a covered porch or patio outdoors or indoors to ensure a longer lifespan for your hand-painted sign. By the purchase of this sign, the buyer agrees that the seller is not responsible for any weather-inflicted damage should the buyer keep the sign outdoors. Buyer takes full responsibility of the upkeep of their sign after they take possession of it. This sale does not include any other services, refunds or exchanges outside of this product agreement. We recommend keeping your hand-painted sign out of direct path of rain, sleet, hail, etc. and to clean it every year from dust and debris with a slightly damp rag. To store, cover in a plastic wrap to keep safe from chemicals, pesticides, sun and dust. This sign has 2 coats of a polyurethane wood finish applied which is a synthetic coating that is highly durable and water resistant keeping your artwork safe. Should the buyer decide to apply more coats of polyurethane over the years, please use a high-grade wood* polyurethane. (Make sure wood is in the title of the product, this can be water or solvent based. Apply evenly.) - Thank you!
