Concierge Corner with Eric: Tertulia Our restaurant of choice this month is Tertulia. Tertulia opened in the West Village in the summer of 2011 to star-sightings and foodie acclaim. Small tapas include presentations of Pan con Tomate, pig cheek with quail egg, and mushrooms with smoked ricotta are served on chunky platters and wooden boards. Save room for dessert! Their Tarta de Higos is delicious. This dish, pictured below, features caramelized fig tart, fresh ricotta and fig confiture.
Cote de Beouf: Minetta Tavern
Concierge Corner with Eric: Cafeteria Guests often ask us where they can have delicious food served 24 hours a day. Our favorite recommendation is Cafeteria in Chelsea. The restaurant serves American comfort food with a chic ambiance and is frequently visited by hip-dressed locals. Be sure to try their cheddar-and-fontina mac 'n cheese, or for a lighter meal, try the Baja Fish Tacos.
