The Batard-Montrachet site and its Grand Cru neighbors, Chevalier-Montrachet, Le Montrachet and Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet, are planted in a group on the southern apex of the Mont-Rachet hill. Curving around the corner of the hillside, the slopes face progressively from due east to due south, bringing their vines maximal exposure to the all-important ripening sunshine

Trinity Hill Homage 2009.  The wine shows great elegance, with concentration and weight. The structure is tight and tense, which will allow the wine to age gracefully for many years. We would expect more complex truffly, forest floor and leather characters to emerge with age.
