Saint George and the Dragon  “Saint Georgios” Greek Orthodox Icon. This icon is a copy of a 19th century icon that is located in the church of Transfiguration at the island of Kefalonia in Greece. This icon is painted on canvas, and attached to solid wood. In hagiography we use colors in powder form mixed with the special traditional pigment of egg tempera. Handmade in Greece using the old traditional techniques by Evangelopoulos Icons. Approx. Dimensions: 15 ¾” x 12”.
