Crockpot Balsamic Roast Beef French Dip Sandwiches: 1 3-4 pound boneless roast beef (chuck or round roast), 1 cup beef broth, ½ cup balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon honey, ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, 4 cloves garlic, chopped - throw it all in a crockpot & cook. Great homemade Salsa: 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1 little can of diced green chilis, 1/2 bunch cilantro chopped, 1 clove of garlic minced or garlic powder, 3-4 whole green onion (stem included) chopped up, couple shakes of red pepper flakes, 1 tsp of salt (I usually add a little more...I like salty). Blend it all together minus the tomatoes, then add the tomatoes and blend a little to mince the tomatoes. Delicious!
Aloha Burgers. I changed this recipe up a bit. For the patties, I mix: 1 lb organic ground beef, 1 egg, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup ketchup, and 1 1/2 tsp salt. This makes four medium-sized patties. Top each with Swiss cheese. Serve on a Hawaiian bread bun. Add bacon and lettuce for a topping. The Hawaiian bread roll adds a lot of sweetness and a tropical, pineapple-y flavor.
