The Casa Mila was designed by Antonio Gaudi in 1905. It is designed in the art nouveau style and it attempts to look as if it is growing out of its environment. It is a multifamily housing unit. Gaudi designed the rippling shelves and cave balconies to mimic mountains or a stone quarry. This structure is located in Barcelona, Spain.
