Mystical Rose. The red rose is the symbol of love and suffering. The two are inseparable and they are held in the hand of God. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." The love of God is honorable wisdom." We apply what is said of wisdom to her whom we call "Mystical Rose" whose ways are those of wisdom and love, and who was chosen to be the mother of her Creator.
