Tallulah Bankhead, 1920's (1902–1968). American actress of the stage and screen and talk-show host. At 16 she won a beauty contest and moved to NYC to try the Broadway stage. She didn't make any headway, so she moved to London in 1923. She was the most popular actresses for several years in London. Paramount noticed her and she returned to the US to try film from 1930 to 1933. Her films were not hits, so she went back to the stage. She didn't make another film for 11 years. (Source: IMDb)
