Los papás del Padre Pío.

Quote by St. Padre Pio: You suffer, but you must rejoice too, because one day your suffering will change into joy.

Blessed John Paul II, 1. May 2011

St. Padre Pio is one of the most loved modern saints. From humble beginnings, this man of ill health was a warrior for God. He offered up the sufferings of his life for all sinners and frequently was visited by visions, both from God and the devil. He heard confessions for long hours and converted many sinners. Early on he received the stigmata, which means he suffered the same wounds that Jesus did on the cross. His feast day is September 23rd.

Padre Pio was the opposite of a fan-hugging, autograph-signing celebrity ‘Brusque to the point of being rude’, the Italian saint was only interested in one personality – the Son of God
