PRISONER B-3087 -- WWII and Nazi atrocities are fading in public memory. Afterall it's been over 50 years ago. Based on a true story this is another good YA book that breathes life into era. The book might be okay for older Middle Graders. I know it would not be appropriate for my sensitive Tween guy (newly 11).
Amazing memoir from a Holocaust survivor with a beautiful twist at the end! Gerda Weissman Klein epitomizes the survivor. I heard her speak a few years back and she was just awe-inspiring to listen to. It's been a while since I read it but I probably will again in the near future!
