While I don't normally eat sweets for dessert...well excluding dove bars and chocolate chip cookies...this #papaya pie is wonderful. Great #recipe if you like fruit. BTW Papayas are dirt cheap in #Nevis.
My Fruit cake recipe: Cream butter (one pound) with one cup of brown sugar until fluffly. Add 4 eggs. Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamom powder. Add a glass of milk. Whisk everything together. Soak dried fruits, pineapple, and apple (chopped) in rum for a while and add to the mix. Bake for aproximately one hour. Decorate with confectioners´sugar with lemon juice and a little water, and crystallized fruit. Enjoy!
