OP. Arthur Tudor, whose story was probably much sadder than was previously thought. My thoughts. That sounds very interesting. I have never read your novels although, of course, I have heard of them. Arthur is one of those lost princes, such as the Black Prince or Prince Henry Stuart, that one wonders how history would have changed had he survived.

In the movie, right before she is beheaded, Anne says to King Henry VIII: "My Elizabeth SHALL be Queen; and my blood will have been well spent." I don't know if she actually said this; but I hope she did because it encapsulates exactly how she felt about her daughter's succession to the throne...and Elizabeth did become Queen.
