Molecular Dynamics simulation of a lipid bilayer and water - (A reminder that we molecular animators take artistic liberties just by removing water and slowing down molecules so we can see what's going on) - "MD simulation of a cholesterol containing (20%) lipid bilayer (DPPC) with explicit water (SPC). As the visualization goes on, water is removed for clarity and a bird's-eye view is taken to better see how the individual lipids move. One lipid is tagged to better follow its motion."
