According to the Japanese Ministry of Defense, a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force OP-3C and Japan Air Self-Defense Force YS-11EB were intercepted over the East China Sea by two PLAAF Su-27 Flankers. NATO condemns 'extreme danger' of Russia's Turkish air incursions
NATO condemned Russian incursions into Turkish airspace as "extreme danger" and demanded Moscow halt all attacks against Syrian opposition and civilians. "Allies strongly protest these violations of Turkish sovereign airspace and condemn these incursions into and violations of NATO airspace," the US-led alliance said after an emergency meeting on the Syria crisis at its Brussels headquarters.
