Although designed as a modern look table runner, this quilt could also be used to adorn your wall, a dresser, coffee table, sofa table, buffet, desk, bed or piano top. The black, white and grey color scheme will coordinate with many decors. A layer of batting enclosed between two layers of cotton fabrics gives extra protections to your furniture. The quilt measures 14-1/2" (37cm) wide by 59" (150cm) long. The quilt could also be a lovely modern housewarming gift, hostsess gift, bridal shower or wedding gift! A black-on-white floral print and a coordinating white-on-black floral print are used as a focal point. A solid black "shadow" seems to lift the print fabrics from the solid grey background fabric! The back of the runner is a light gray tone-on-tone print, so for a different look you can turn it over and feature that side which shows off the quilting texture beautifully. All fabrics are 100% cotton and for a crisp, modern look, a layer of white cotton batting is inserted between the layers for extra protection of your furniture. The piece is quilted with straight lines echoing the square shapes. A solid grey binding is fastened by machine to the front of the runner and carefully hand stitched with invisible stitches to the back to make the piece reversible. The runner can be machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water. Although it could be dried in the dryer (all of the fabrics have been pre-washed and dried in the dryer), it is recommended that you dry it flat or use the air-only dryer cycle. This will prevent any possible shrinkage and maintain the modern look to the piece.
