Princess Louise of Battenberg (1889--1965), 2nd child of Princess Victoria of Battenberg (nee, of Hesse and by Rhine). Princess Louise was known as Lady Louise Mountbatten in 1917 when her father, the German-by-birth Prince Louis of Battenberg and Admiral of the Fleet, renounced his German titles. During WWI Louise was a Red Cross nurse and was awarded medals by Britain and France for her hard work. After the war she married the Crown Prince of Sweden and eventually become Queen.
