HPLHS Insanity Certificates (FREE to customize and print off) - I now have a certificate that will "warn" my co-workers of my certified mental condition. Beware!!! :) LOVE THIS!!!

1) fresh oranges (or other citrus fruit - the top of my pomander tree is a lime with a start anise on top.) 2) 1/2 cup of whole cloves for each pomander - buy them in bulk.  3) Plan your design 4)  studding the fruit,use a toothpick to make a hole in the rind first, followed by the stem end of a whole clove.   5) Once you've finished studding the fruit, allow it to air dry, as is, or you can roll it in a mixture of ground cinnamon, ground cloves and ground orris root powder (as a fixative).

Clear fixative spray Mix flour, salt and water together. Knead 5 minutes and shape into a ball. Roll dough on a floured surface. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters or shape into your own designs. Make a hole in the top of each ornament with a drinking straw. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Rec. Cooks.com
