Aleksandr Averyanov - Guerreros rusos medievales

Russian knights (= bogatyry) in the 12th-14th centuries. Their shields contain Rurik's sign as falcon that later was transformed into the arms of Russia. Bogatyr has got another meaning, in medieval Russia he was a knight-hero that rescued his country. Usually he has got a fairy horse, a heavy sword and may have a friend, e.g. Wolf, that could speak, made magic tricks, and rescued Bogatyr if he needed it.

Italeri’s Russian Knights may be used to recreate elements of DBA Army 157 – Post-Mongol Russian
