Book 46/50: Human Universe (Brian Cox & Andrew Cohen). My rating: 5/5. This is a book full of hope and admiration for the human race, but it is also haunting as it takes us through our "ascent into insignificance" and highlights the ridiculousness of our existence. It connects knowledge and ideas from disparate areas of thought in a beautiful and unique way, and the result is this highly accessible book that I'd recommend to anyone. Can't wait to see the documentary series!
