Tang Dynasty, circa 618-907 CE. Armor worn by Tang Dynasty soldiers was similar to that worn during the Southern & Northern Dynasties us to the Sui Dynasty in construction. Following a series of reforms the armor gradually became the rung clothing style of the Tang Dynasty Armed Forces.
