Brocade 14th century, 47 x 63 cm, The ground is grayish blue silk. The design arranged in horizontal bands is woven with white and pinkish red silk, and linen thread wound with very much tarnished gilded gold beaters skin. In the wider bands are palmettes, hunting leopards, dogs and birds. In the narrower bands are animals, rosettes, and Arabic letters, in circles.
