Heidelberg Castle. The castle is located 80 meters (260 ft) up the northern part of a hillside, and dominates the view of the old center of the Germany city of Heidelberg. The castle ruins are among the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. It has had a long and turbulent history since the earliest castle structure was built in the 13th century.
Pompeii FUN FACT: this "road" shown isn't really a road, it is in fact, the sewer that would run through the city... those two little raise stones are for crossing to the other side of the sidewalk with out stepping in waste.
