This is a drainage solution we came up with for a nice two story house in Torrance, We removed 6 inches of soil to allow the soil to slope properly for drainage away from the house. Then we added gravel and decomposed granite which is great fro drainage. Next we finished it off with the fruit trees they wanted. It was a nice way to fill the space with the plants they wanted and a way to keep from having trees in the middle of there back yard.
