El hombre tranquilo
el padrino, obra maestra!
A Useful Life - wish we'd found space to play this. Alas, one screen means that we do miss some great films sometimes.
"You Can't Take It with You" - Slapstick fun and very moving, this is one of my favorite movies, and a pick-me-up-when-i'm down go to.It's about this rich ,young,soon-to -be business exec, and his reduced- means secretary that he's head over heels in love with, but his parents don't approve of the fun-hearted girl, or her wrong side of the town family.Entertaining movie from beginning to so" aaawww" ending!
"Me and Orson Welles" (2008) *3* (PG-13) Meh. I really liked the main boy. His acting was fabulous. Both lead actresses lacked substantially in both believability and charm. I love the concept of the movie, and I also liked the ending, but I just could not get into it. The costume designer and concept artist had a fabulous time, though. The picture is extremely pretty. And you can't hate anything Richard Linklater directs. It was cute, just not memorable.
