Faygo, it's a Michigan thing! The Feigenson brothers founded the Feigenson Brothers Bottle Works on November 4, 1907 in Detroit, Michigan. The name was shortened to Faygo in 1921 and the brothers passed it on to their sons in the 1940s. In 1986, the Feigenson family sold Faygo to TreeSweet Companies. The following year, Faygo was bought by National Beverage Corporation, but still has its headquarters in Detroit, Michigan to this day.
