Toy Life Jacket - Medium Size

THE STORY OF THE TOY LIFE JACKET Our two year old grand daughter, Lauren, didn't want to wear her lifejacket when going on the boat. I made a life jacket for her favorite bear, so that both Lauren and her bear could go for a boat ride together, and they would both be safe. This life jacket is size medium which fits an American Girl size doll or similar sized doll or animal. The measurements are 5" tall and 13.5" around at the middle. The straps are elastic so the life jacket would fit a larger size also. The colors shown in the pictures vary to show some different sized animals. This particular life jacket is purple on both the outside and on the inside. The fabric is nylon. The straps are black elastic with D rings and velcro for the strap closure. The life jacket has a 1/2" foam core. This life jacket is a fun way for a child who uses a life jacket to play with dolls and stuffed animals. The life jacket is fun to use on a boat or beach, but not in the water. The doll or toy animal would probably be damaged from the water. The life jacket should not be used on a live pet because I cannot guarantee its buoyancy or weight capacity.
