Tzintzuntzin is a small town in Michoacan, Mexico. It was capitol of the Tarrascan Indian Federation; there is a Tarrascan archeological site on the hill overlooking Lake Patzcuaro. There are two beautiful churches, an ex convent, 800 year old olive trees and absolute peace. Outside the stone archway are small tiendas selling pottery and Michoacán ice cream.
