She cooked her own food, kept house and washed her own dishes (and while she was at it, she'd pull out her dentures and scrub them too). She ate miso soup and diakon for breakfast, drank 5 cups of tea daily and napped. She spent 15 mins daily to remember her ancestors. From her, I got a glimpse of the extreme of human longevity. We had no mutual language but she hosted me for two days and smiled the whole time
