Anatomy of tooth eruption, my canines are still not erupted. i never lost my baby teeth, so they have to remove those, and then open my gums to expose the rebels. Thankfully, they aren't in the roof of my mouth and/or laying ideways, theyre straight up nd down and positioned like they want to come down. (but refuse to. hence, surgery. grr.)

In the anatomy lab of my college, we have a couple of skulls that have unerupted secondary teeth. These have always fascinated me, yet made me sad, because holding them meant a child had died.
