Gallo, the world's largest wine producer, is buying only half as much wine this year as last year from one of Napa Valley's largest wineries, forcing the winery to market its surplus wines directly to customers for the first time in 25 years.Gallo no longer is buying white wine from the Napa Valley Cooperative Winery, which represents about 20 percent of Napa's wine industry.
