Designer John Leung created the Bias of Thoughts bookshelf as sort of a 3D blivet or “impossible object,” which normally only gets depicted as a mind boggling drawing. Looking at it straight-on tricks the viewer into seeing a real-life representation of an impossible object, when in truth the shelf is quite real and functional.
