The Crown by ON-A
The building’s programme consists mainly of luxury flats and service areas that future owners will be able to enjoy. Highlights include a lounge bar on the ground floor, a gym on the first floor, work areas and a library on the first floor, and a sky garden on the top floor with multifunctional rooms for social events. The building has a total height of 108 m (31 floors), but without a doubt, the differentiating feature of the building is its spectacular facade. A white exoskeleton made up of fluid and sinuous shapes that frame the entire building volume and which, at the end, form the unique “crown” that gives the building its name.
Torre Zenit by ON-A
It should be noted that throughout the design process we have always looked for the most optimal orientation to enjoy the natural light for as long as possible and to have the most beautiful view of the site. With all this, Zenit Tower offers a sustainable vision with maximum comfort for its residents and users.
Torre Zenit by ON-A
TORRE ZENIT is a mixed-use building (residential and services) located in Escaldes-Engordany, near the two rivers Valira. It is ON-A’s first project in the Principality of Andorra and offers the opportunity to design an architectural icon and a reference for luxury housing in this region.
Sky River by ON-A
The interior facade was decided to be as glazed as possible to create the sensation of floating above the Tamsui River. On the ground floor, the flats have a vertical communication core, allowing access to each of the units through a distribution corridor. Another characteristic is the location of the bathrooms, which are located close to the facade, but with glazed partitions, allowing a visual connection with the river. The facade is composed by fluid forms, by a “vertical ribbon”, a glass railing liberates the facade facing the river to give maximum visual permeability, and a “horizontal ribbon” that collects all the structural elements of the different floors.
Sky River by ON-A
Sky River is located in the Bali District of Taipei (Taiwan), a privileged area due to its proximity to the Tamsui River and important natural sites such as the Guanyin Mountain Yinghanling. The area has many nautical amenities, including a private mooring for the users of the residential complex. A new riverfront is being developed in this area with numerous urban development projects with the aim of having a new axis of communication parallel to the river that runs through the whole district. Taking into account the existing characteristics of the site and its great future projection, the aim of the developer, Zhuhe Architecture, was to create a unique residential landmark, providing a differentiating and impactful architecture for the surroundings.
El Rengle Tower II by ON-A
The penthouse flats have a large terrace that also gives access to an upper terrace on the roof, with private access from it, where a jacuzzi and a barbecue area are located, in addition to the solarium. These terraces allow you to have a 360º view of the whole area and enjoy a direct view of the sea with a high degree of privacy.
El Rengle Tower II by ON-A
The south facade is the one directly facing the sea and has large terraces with glass railings so as not to obstruct the interior-exterior view of the owners, giving the sensation of proximity to the sea. On the north facade, the views of the city and the Montnegre and Corredor park predominate. The rooms are located on this facade, providing the perfect lighting and climatic quality for the bedrooms. This facade is formally characterised by two large white diagonals (GRC) that cross the 14-storey volume, bringing fluidity and dynamism to the facade.
El Rengle Tower II by ON-A
After the good reception of the first assignment (Torre el Rengle I), Sorigué once again opted for the experience of ON-A in the construction of a second residential building, following the same language and projection that had been promoted in the previous project for the city of Mataró. This is why the new building follows the geometric line of its predecessor: a volume where the singularity is defined by the sinuousness of its curves and the horizontality of the white GRC stripes.
The Crown by ON-A
Considering the site’s existing characteristics and its great future projection, the developer, Kingland Property Corporation, aimed to create a unique residential landmark, providing a differentiating and impactful architecture for the surroundings. In order to achieve this goal, they commissioned the architectural practice to ON-A, led by Eduardo Gutiérrez and Jordi Fernández, to design the facade and the main lobby, working in collaboration with the local architectural team HPA Architects & Associates.
