Butron Castle, Gatika Spain - Butrón is a castle located in Gatika, in the province of Biscay, in northern Spain. It dates originally from the Middle Ages, although it owes its present appearance to an almost complete rebuilding begun by Francisco de Cubas (also known as Marqués de Cubas) in 1878. The castle has a fairy-tale look about it inspired by Bavarian castle models.
'Casa Batlló' Antoni Gaudí 1906. Joinery windows set with multicolored stained glass. In front of the large windows, as if they were pillars that support the complex stone structure, there are six fine columns that seem to simulate the bones of a limb, in fact, this is a floral decoration. The rounded shapes of the gaps and the lip-like edges carved into the stone surrounding them create a semblance of a fully open mouth, for which the Casa Batlló has been nicknamed the "house of yawns."
