Resilience and connection Aam El Ayechi, a beautiful soul we had the chance to encounter, shared with us his sacred place beneath the sprawling branches of Om Ezitouna, Tunisia's most distinguished olive tree. With a voice rich in history, he recounted witnessing and participating in the Bizerte battle from this very spot. Generations of his family were born here, their lives deeply intertwined with the tree's ancient roots. Each morning and afternoon, he returns, usually with his grandson, to bask in the tree's shade and breathe life into old stories.
