Uruapan Michoacan Women Postcard This is a vintage Mexican postcard, probably from the 1950's. The women are posing with maque or lacquer plates. This kind of lacquerware is a typical craft of the city of Uruapan. Michoacan, Mexico
Mexican fruit dealers From a scarce CDV album of mexican occupationals made by the studio Cruces y Campa in the 1860s. (Frutera) The album contains 40 views of occupations, vendors and marketeers, a portrait of a woman (maybe the owner) and a view of the three Naoleons. So maybe this album had been brought from Mexico by one of the soldiers of the emperor Maximilian.
