A reconstruction of "The woman of the Pataud Shelter" by Elisabeth Daynès who became an expert in palaeontology. Seen on November 7, 2014 in Bordeaux at the exhibition, "The Origins of Flesh - our ancestors as you've never seen before". "The woman of the Pataud Shelter" or "La femme de l'Abri Pataud" was found in France's Dordogne region, in the south west of the country, and dates from between approximately 47,000 and 17,000 years ago.
