Unit 1 -1.1 & 2.1 - 2.3, 3.1- 3.3 I have experimented with pastels, water colours and pencils. The water colours and pastels are great for blending tones together and shading as you can create softer tones to blend and transition colours. They are not so good for creating hard , bold sold blocks of one color.

Unit 6 - 2.1- 2.3 I have finalised my designs after having discussed them with my tutors and peers, I sourced all of the materials and then printed my labels. I then put the labels on the Jars and displayed them in the shop and canteen.
Unit 6 - 1.1,1.2,1.3 I have used my own art work to influence my design ideas to produce a set of labels for branding products. I have photographed and digitised my artwork and used magazine advertising ideas to inspire my layout and designs. I have used photoshop on the computer to come up with these contact sheets to demonstrate my ideas that I am presenting on my Pinterest pages.

Unit 6 - 1.4,1.5 These are my final designs that I have produced in Photoshop using my own artwork and photographs. , I have chosen pastel shades for the back ground colours to make the striking and bold text stand out and compliment my art work. having discussed this with my peers and Mai I feel confident in going ahead with the finished products as the feedback has been very positive and people really like the labels.
Unit 1 -1.1 & 2.1 - 2.3, 3.1- 3.3 Here I have experimented with different tools to create hard lines and colourful textures for a background, I have used acrylic paint and wooden sticks with sponges on them to create the unusual texture for the back ground I used paint brushes to create the face on a heavy paper for strength and then cut it out with scissors to enfasise the hard edge of the face and mounted
