Alexandra David-Néel (1868-1969)

Fue la primera occidental en penetrar en la ciudad prohibida de Lhasa y la introductora en occidente de algunas corrientes budistas. Fue también anarquista, feminista, cantante de ópera, interprete de piano, traductora, fotógrafa....
