Calming Strategies
These strategies are ultimaely actions a child can take to reduce stress. However, they also work for the child life specialists because children, especially younger children may not realize how much better they will feel when they engage in any of the strategies represented in this pin. This can also be geared towards the child in the sense that the specialist may be able to suggest activities based on the child's likes and dislikes.
