A full-sized mock-up of the tram that CAF is to supply to Luxembourg City went on display. The first vehicles are scheduled for delivery in early 2017. No catenary is envisaged on the 3·6 km between Pont Rouge and the main line station. The first section will link Pont Rouge and Luxexpo. Extensions at both ends, from Luxexpo to the airport and Pont Rouge to Cloche d’Or, are envisaged to open in 2020-21, taking the line to 16·2 km.

The first of 27 CAF Urbos 100 LRVs for Utrecht’s Uithof Line has begun its journey from Spain to the Netherlands. Following delivery, the vehicle will go on public display at Nieuwegein depot in Utrecht on January 18 The 33m-long bidirectional LRVs have a maximum speed of 70km/h and accommodate up to 216 passengers. Due to open in 2018, the 7.5km Uithof line will connect Utrecht Central station with the Uithof universary campus on the eastern side of the city.
