Brian Walker and Kaitlyn Zagurski met during Preview their first days on campus. From Kaitlyn: "When we started dating our freshman year, we decided that we would take a picture on the bench every year until our senior year in a different season. Well, this year, our senior year, when Brian and I hopped up for our final picture...he proposed!!! Our photo collection is now complete with the greatest ending!" #ISULoveBirds

Alexander “Lex” Samaras walked into the University Co-Op in 1941 and saw four girls in a booth. The one who caught his eye was freshman Carolyn Jean Brown. Samaras knew instantly he had met his wife. They set up a coke date, and it went pretty well. They married on Dec. 26, 1943 and were together until Carolyn’s death in July 2014 at age 91. He described her “as the same beautiful girl I met at the Co-Op 72 1/2 years before.” #ISULoveBirds
