Brian Walker and Kaitlyn Zagurski met during Preview their first days on campus. From Kaitlyn: "When we started dating our freshman year, we decided that we would take a picture on the bench every year until our senior year in a different season. Well, this year, our senior year, when Brian and I hopped up for our final picture...he proposed!!! Our photo collection is now complete with the greatest ending!" #ISULoveBirds

Alexander “Lex” Samaras walked into the University Co-Op in 1941 and saw four girls in a booth. The one who caught his eye was freshman Carolyn Jean Brown. Samaras knew instantly he had met his wife. They set up a coke date, and it went pretty well. They married on Dec. 26, 1943 and were together until Carolyn’s death in July 2014 at age 91.
