Vintage pink tile bathroom

Folks who are tickled pink by their mid-century tiles might need help approaching design. I spoke with some expert home stagers who shared the four keys to zhuzhing up a pink tiled bathroom.

Vintage bathrooms can sometimes get a bad reputation, especially when it comes to colored tile. And while some homeowners might shudder at avocado-colored toilets or mustard-toned tubs, others take inspiration from the quirky vintage style. Kristi Waite fell into the latter category.

floor is small pink tiles. wall is regular candy pink tiles 1/2 way up the wall. 10 foot ceiling and aprox. 6 feet long from the door to the bathtub and only as wide as the tub. sink and toilet are opposite each other.

As soon as I saw this bathroom, I felt an immediate urge to show the world how lovely a pink bathroom could be. Is it ideal to have a room full of pink tile? Well, not exactly. But it’s easier to decorate around pink tiles than you think if you lean into the fun nostalgia.
