Victorian Fancy DressI admit to being stumped as to where this piece of work is being held. It is clear that it was photographed on a conservation table somewhere., but so far I’ve had no luck tracking down the source. The numerous places where I did find these images all say the same thing, that this is a fancy dress costume created by Charles Frederick Worth in 1858, the year the firm became Worth and Bobergh, with his business partner Otto Gustave Bobergh.
